How we work

We’re rethinking our physical spaces and packaging to create lower-impact shopping experiences. From the materials we use to how we package and ship our products; we consider sustainability at every stage.

Our sustainable store guidelines help us design and operate spaces more responsibly, prioritizing energy efficiency, environmentally preferred material choices and waste reduction. In packaging, we’re driving innovation to reduce single-use materials and increase recyclability to help lower our environmental footprint.

How we're doing

100% Renewable Electricity Across Europe

Since 2020, 100% of our stores, offices & warehouses in Europe have been powered by renewable electricity 5. 

Sustainable Stores with Global Impact

We’re committed to improving the sustainability of our retail operations. Select stores have been certified through LEED - a globally recognized standard for green buildings, helping us test and scale innovative solutions across our global store network.

Redesigned Packaging for Less Waste 

We are redesigning our packaging to reduce the overall use of packaging components and increase the use of recycled content.

Packaging that Protects Forests 

Since 2022, Tommy Hilfiger has met Canopy Pack4Good targets by sourcing packaging with at least 50% post-consumer waste or recycled content, certified from responsibly managed forests. In 2024, we reached 69% average recycled content in all paper-based packaging.
